Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Child and Youth Program Leader to oversee care and development for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years old. The role includes mentoring CY Program Assistants and guiding curriculum implementation under DoD and local policies.

The position emphasizes supervision, safety, and collaboration with parents and staff, ensuring high-quality developmental care and program integrity within military installations.

Qualifications

• Must provide high school diploma or equivalent at time of application.
• Completion of required DoD standardized training modules is required.
• Ability to train staff on child development concepts and safety policies.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background and fitness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mentor CY Program Assistant team and model professional development.
• Plan activities and curricula to meet developmental needs.
