Job summary

Navy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Child and Youth Program Leader to provide direct care and instruction for ages 6 weeks to 18 years, while mentoring CY Program Assistants and guiding curriculum implementation. Qualifications

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate programs for 6 weeks to 18 years.
Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
Skills to mentor CY Program Assistants and translate training into practice.
Strong communication with parents, staff, and leadership.
Capability to manage safety, compliance, and records.

Responsibilities

Mentor CY Program Assistant team and provide instruction.
Plan and implement activities meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
Oversee indoor/outdoor environments and equipment.
Supervise children and youth and ensure safe departures with authorized individuals.
Communicate with parents, employees and installation personnel.
Assist with assessments and document developmental progress.
Ensure DoD standards and accreditation compliance.
