Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is hiring a Youth Development Leader in The Woodlands, TX for before/after school and day camp programs. This part-time role emphasizes safety, engagement, and positive youth development, with opportunities to lead activities and build relationships with families and staff.

You’ll work part-time schedules with a base pay of $13.00 per hour, plus a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend for eligible locations. Benefits include Free YMCA membership and paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with youth in licensed settings preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication with youth, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for youth.
• Lead age-appropriate activities and supervise groups.
• Monitor sign-in/out procedures and maintain attendance.
• Collaborate with families, school staff and YMCA team.
• Model YMCA values: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility.
