Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• At least one year related experience required, preferably with youth development or community services in urban areas.

Responsibilities

• Instruct participants in age-appropriate curriculum.
• Foster self-esteem and motivation through positive interaction.
• Maintain daily attendance records and related documentation.
• Observe professional communication and protect confidentiality of children, families, and staff.
• Attend ongoing trainings and scheduled meetings.
• Plan and attend community events as assigned.
• Participate in curriculum development.
• Assist in developing tools to evaluate activity effectiveness.
