Job summary

ACE Wellness Center in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Group Facilitator to lead youth group therapy within our Day Treatment program. The role focuses on creating a safe, structured environment, developing programming and improving emotional and behavioral health outcomes for youths.

The facilitator will design outreach initiatives, ensure compliance with Day Treatment standards, and monitor group dynamics while coordinating with schools and local partners to support ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Valid Ohio license: LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW (required)
• Minimum 3 years of mental health counseling experience preferred
• Experience with group facilitation and behavioral interventions preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead therapeutic and support groups for youth in Day Treatment.
• Develop and facilitate group programming and curriculum.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor group participation and maintain session structure.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes in clinical records.
• Provide supervision and mentorship for student interns.
