Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Director to coach Guides and students across K-3, using data and observation to drive measurable improvements. This is an in-person, full-time role at a campus in New York City or Miami, with relocation support provided.

You will build coaching playbooks, run workshops on communication, resilience, and accountability, and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional facilitation every day. If you love developing people and scaling excellence, we'd love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• At least 5 years experience with elementary-aged children.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people.
• Proven ability to use data to drive improvements.
• Strong storytelling and facilitation with young children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to improve outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, and life skills.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions linking motivation to academic growth.
• Build and refine coaching playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides with exceptional coaching and facilitation every day.
