Job summary

HFLW Brand in New York's Bronx is seeking a Content Specialist to support DYCD COMPASS sites with curriculum implementation, staff coaching, and instructional support. You will help ensure high-quality, engaging youth programming across multiple sites, aligning with DYCD requirements and best practices in youth development.

The role emphasizes coaching, activity development, and professional development for program staff, with occasional trainings for 21st CCLC staff and other expanded learning

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in youth development, afterschool programming, curriculum development, or related fields.
• Experience facilitating trainings and supporting staff development.
• Experience conducting observations, coaching staff, or monitoring program quality preferred.
• Experience with DYCD COMPASS, 21st CCLC, or related programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of positive youth development and social-emotional learning practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide program quality and instructional support across DYCD COMPASS sites through coaching and feedback.
• Review lesson plans, develop activities, and align with DYCD requirements and program goals.
• Coach instructors and frontline staff; model facilitation and classroom management techniques.
• Support professional development and onboarding of new staff; deliver trainings as needed.
• Assist with monitoring visits, audits, and contract compliance; maintain documentation.
