Job summary

Hands That Make A Difference Inc invites applications for a Content Specialist to support development and continuous improvement of high-quality youth programming funded by DYCD, ensuring activities, curricula, and enrichment align with goals.

You'll lead staff development, conduct observations, review lesson plans, and provide coaching and technical assistance to frontline staff to promote academic enrichment, leadership, social-emotional growth, and positive youth outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Education, Youth Development, Recreation, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Arts Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with youth in educational, recreational, after-school, summer camp, or community-based settings.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting staff development preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality youth development programming.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of program schedules, enrichment activities, special events, and showcases.
  • Ensure activities align with DYCD requirements, organizational goals, and positive youth development principles.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of program resources, activity guides, and instructional materials.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all participants.
