Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience working with children of diverse ages and cultures.
• Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid and New Employee Orientation.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Adept computer skills in Office 365.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of before and after school care and camp programs.
• Lead curriculum development and implementation for programs.
• Supervise and train staff and volunteers; ensure consistent programming.
• Maintain attendance, records, and payroll documentation.
• Foster communication with parents and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and staff evaluations.
