Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota is seeking a Youth Development Professional to plan and lead activities within designated program areas such as Academic Success and Arts & Crafts. The role emphasizes positive youth development, safety, inclusivity, and engaging programming.

The position involves coordinating with staff, implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining equipment and spaces, and supporting a collaborative team to provide high-quality programs for members.

Qualifications

• Experience: One to three months of experience working with children preferred.
• Familiarity with safety protocols including fire, severe weather, and lockdown procedures.
• Knowledge of Boys & Girls Club policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment that supports positive youth development and promotes active participation.
• Plan, implement, and lead engaging programs tailored to members' interests and needs.
• Communicate effectively with youth and team members to support a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain program planners, equipment, and spaces, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
