Job summary

BrightPath is opening a new short-term crisis stabilization home in the Twin Cities metro. You will run the program, train the founding team, and handle the first referrals as BrightPath stands up the site ahead of its September 2026 opening.

You will oversee intake decisions, behavior programming, crisis response, and transition planning while ensuring compliance with 245D and Positive Support Rule, building strong partnerships with MCCP and county stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years in behavioral health, crisis services, or high-acuity residential settings.
• Experience supporting minors with complex behavioral needs.
• Demonstrated experience managing interfering behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, and elopement.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in 245D-licensed services or comparable behavioral health residential programs.

Responsibilities

• Intake and admission decisions within 24–48 hours, assess risk and program fit, make recommendations with Operations.
• Develop initial behavior support plans at intake and update them at least every two weeks.
• Direct staff response during escalation and ensure least-restrictive de-escalation.
• Build and maintain behavior tracking systems and report outcomes to leadership and county partners.
• Drive timely, durable discharges with shadowing and warm handoffs to next provider.
• Train, coach, and develop staff to maintain consistent service delivery.
