Job summary

BrightPath is launching a short-term crisis stabilization home in the Twin Cities metro. The Program Manager will stand up the program, train the founding team, manage intake and admissions, and set operating standards.

You will lead crisis response, track outcomes, and coordinate transition planning with families and providers. The role requires 3–5 years in behavioral health, leadership experience in 245D-licensed services, and the ability to translate clinical assessment into actionable staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field required.
  • 3–5 years in behavioral health, crisis services, or high-acuity residential settings.
  • Experience supporting minors with complex behavioral needs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing interfering behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, and elopement.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in 245D-licensed services or comparable programs.
  • Ability to translate clinical assessment into clear, actionable direction for direct care staff.
  • Sound decision-making in fast-moving, high-risk situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Intake and admission decisions. Review referrals within 24–48 hours and make accept/deny recommendations with Operations; coordinate intake readiness.
  • Behavior support and clinical programming. Develop initial behavior support plans and update every two weeks; train staff to implement plans with fidelity.
  • Crisis response leadership. Direct staff during escalations and ensure least-restrictive interventions; review incidents within 24 hours and adjust programming.
  • Data and outcomes. Build and maintain behavior tracking, read trends, and report outcomes to leadership and county partners.
  • Transition planning. Start at intake; coordinate with case managers and families; drive timely, durable discharges with shadowing and warm handoffs.
  • Team leadership. Train and develop Behavior Technicians and Program Coordinators; maintain consistency across shifts.
  • Compliance and documentation. Ensure 245D/Positive Support Rule compliance and audit readiness.
