Job summary

The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) seeks a collaborative Case Coordinator for the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn, OR. This role supports the Living Unit Manager, leads case management for youth, and helps develop unit programming in a structured, trauma-informed environment.

You will coordinate JJIS case plans, assist in MDT processes, and ensure accurate documentation for legal proceedings while promoting equity and positive outcomes for youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field OR three years of relevant juvenile justice/treatment/education experience.
• An associate degree with emphasis on juvenile systems and one year relevant experience is acceptable.
• Experience with JJIS, MDT facilitation, and trauma-informed care is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for youth on the living unit as assigned.
• Assist Living Unit Manager in staff engagement and youth interactions.
• Prepare accurate technical documentation for court hearings and legal proceedings.
• Coordinate and facilitate MDT meetings and case reviews.
