Job summary

World Relief seeks a Youth Clubs Associate who cares about immigrant youth, creating a safe environment for learning, play, and connection. This is a Part-Time Limited Term position through May 31, 2027, in the Chicagoland area.

Schedule: 20 hours/week with Monday/Wednesday 12-5, Tuesday/Thursday 2:30-5, Friday 8-1. Responsibilities include planning after-school clubs, coordinating volunteers, managing attendance, and reporting on program activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Committed to World Relief's mission and values.
• Experience working with children and youth is preferred.
• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van and pass MVR standards.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing after-school clubs promoting academic and social-emotional skills.
• Coordinate transportation and supervise intern drivers for club sessions.
• Identify newly arrived students and facilitate club enrollment and participation.
• Lead volunteers through trainings, meetings, and ongoing support.
• Manage volunteers, interns, and work-study students.
• Maintain client and volunteer records; ensure weekly attendance is recorded.
• Prepare monthly program reports and other requested reports.
• Communicate with parents and students via home visits or calls.
• Attend weekly program meetings and World Relief Chicagoland meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
