The Rohingya Culture Center in Chicago seeks a Youth Program Assistant to support refugee children and families in accessing education and succeeding in school. You will help with school enrollment, IEP coordination, after-school programming, and volunteer coordination under the Youth Program Coordinator.

Qualificações

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Child Development, or related field.
• Experience with refugee or immigrant populations, especially in educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of school enrollment processes and IEP coordination is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support School Enrollment & IEP Coordination (K-12), ensure compliance and parental involvement.
• Assist in after school tutoring and academic support, and help develop enrichment activities.
• Assist in developing a new summer program for students.
• Collaborate with case managers to connect families to resources and track metrics.
• Perform administrative tasks and support program development.
