Job summary

World Relief seeks a Case Manager to deliver comprehensive support and orientation to immigrant families in the Chicago area. You will help clients navigate detention services, enroll children in school, access medical care, and connect with community resources.

This limited-term role through 6/30/2027 requires trauma-informed practice, confidentiality, and collaboration with teams to empower vulnerable communities.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith and alignment with World Relief values.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Bilingual abilities are highly preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for immigrant families to identify needs and resources.
• Assist with accessing public benefits programs and healthcare navigation.
• Orient participants to local services and community resources in Chicagoland.
• Maintain confidential client files and documentation in internal systems.
• Engage in team meetings and trainings while upholding trauma-informed practices.
• Support families in understanding and navigating schooling and public services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
