Job summary

This is a 2–3 year apprenticeship position in collaboration with CTE/WBL, with tasks including helping prepare materials, delivering curriculum to groups, monitoring behavior, and supporting field trips and assessments.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• Ability to work with adults in a team setting
• Current Cherry Creek School District student
• Basic clerical skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Ability to work one-on-one or in small or large groups of students or teachers
• Basic communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with prep materials, tests, grading and attendance
• Assist students with curriculum delivery to individuals or groups to reinforce learning
• Monitor students and reinforce appropriate behavior during activities
• Assist with field trips or fire drills as needed
• Attend grade-level and school meetings to plan lessons
• Perform other duties as assigned
