Job summary

KVC Missouri is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to work in the Children's Emergency Shelter. You will play a vital role in advocating for clients, ensuring they receive necessary services, and facilitating communication among team members.

Your responsibilities include crisis intervention, arranging transportation, and conducting regular meetings with clients and their families. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and the ability to obtain a driver's license.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain a class E driver's license and meet KVC Missouri’s requirement for driver’s insurance.

Responsibilities

• Engage in crisis intervention with youth.
• Arrange transportation to community appointments.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and their families.
• Conduct weekly meetings with youth and document interactions.
• Coordinate scheduling for treatment and staffing reviews.
• Prepare information for psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Manage school enrollment and transitions.
• Meet with parents, caseworkers, and guardians for new admissions.
• Ensure smooth transitions for new clients.
• Organize and deliver required documentation, medications, and personal belongings upon discharge.
• Contribute to the overall well-being of clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related degree
