Job summary

The South Bay Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (SBWIB) is seeking a motivated Career Services Coordinator – Case Manager to join the Youth Programs.

This role focuses on case management, youth services, and coordinating employment-related projects for in-school and out-of-school youths ages 14-24. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in social services, job training, and case management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, detail-oriented, and work under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom/Teams).

Responsibilities

• Conduct WIOA eligibility to enroll youth in the service area.
• Provide direct service to program participants and coordinate projects/events.
• Teach or assist in delivering employment-related and financial literacy classes.
• Develop and monitor Individual Service Strategies (ISS) for participants.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual employment goals.
• Track participant activities and outcomes using tracking systems.
• Research best practices in career development and labor market trends.
• Ensure compliance with child labor laws and program requirements.
• Complete MIS forms and maintain agency documentation.
• Perform other duties as needed.
