Job summary

Youth Career Specialist at Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development supports youth and young adults facing barriers to employment or education. You will provide intensive case management, counseling, and connections to community resources, serving ages 16–24 in the WIOA inCompass program across Southern Larimer County, with in-person work in Loveland and Fort Collins, and hybrid options.

Responsibilities include eligibility determinations, data entry, resume guidance, referral

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a related field or similar duties required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse youth populations and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one case management to youth/young adults in WIOA inCompass.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and data entry.
• Connect participants to diploma, internship, and postsecondary opportunities.
• Co-create career exploration and training pathways with participants.
• Offer resume development, interview preparation, and job search guidance.
• Collaborate with community partners to coordinate referrals and services.
