Job summary

RiseBoro Community Partnership seeks a Job Developer to support the Learn and Earn Program in New York. You will lead work readiness training, coordinate participant orientation and placements, and ensure all DYCD documentation is complete and up to date.

Responsibilities include maintaining timesheets and logs, preparing back-pay requests, monitoring worksite agreements, conducting pre-assessments, and providing college counseling support.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of successful and relevant experience connecting youth to workplace experiences, employment engagement, and/or college counseling.
• Must possess excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed records, complete necessary paperwork, and meet prescribed deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead work readiness training component.
• Coordinate participant and worksite orientation and placement.
• Ensure all worksite folders are complete and updated per DYCD requirements.
• Review and maintain participant timesheets and attendance per DYCD policy.
• Log participant timesheets in rosters and entry into DYCD system by deadlines.
• Prepare back-pay requests and submit for approval.
• Inform Program Director of changes for accurate records.
• Assist with participant debit card distribution.
• Enter program data into DYCD system daily.
• Provide support to the Case Manager with college counseling.
• Assist with program activities as needed.
• Develop internships and worksites aligned with career interests.
• Review worksite agreements and attachments before experiences.
• Conduct pre-assessments for worksites prior to experiences.
• Complete worksite assessment reports bi-weekly and upload to DYCD system.
• Ensure documents for each participant at worksites are present.
• Support worksite supervisor for smooth operations.
• Obtain weekly timesheets from worksites.
• Maintain ongoing communication with worksites.
