Job summary

The Work Experience Coach at Our-Piece-of-the-Pie,-Inc provides career readiness coaching to youth, supports placements, and ensures proper documentation and timesheets are completed accurately and on time. This role also involves coordinating with HYSC staff and employer partners to secure and support meaningful work experiences.

Ideal candidates have experience in youth development or workforce preparation, with strong communication and organizational skills, plus a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Experience supporting youth with career preparation, employment, internships, or work-based learning.
• Experience communicating with employers, worksite supervisors, or community partners.
• Experience facilitating or supporting job-readiness, career competency, or workplace-preparation activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare youth for interviews, workplace expectations, and self-advocacy.
• Connect youth to internships, work experiences, and employment opportunities.
• Maintain regular contact with youth and employers during placements.
• Support placement success through coaching, problem-solving, site visits, and planning next steps.
• Review and submit timesheets for subsidized internships and work experiences.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with HYSC staff.
