Our Piece of the Pie in Hartford, CT seeks a Work Experience Coach to provide career readiness coaching, support youth during placements, and coordinate with employers and worksite supervisors. This role requires strong communication and organization to keep placements on track and ensure compliance with subsidies.
You will prepare youth for interviews, connect them to internships and employment opportunities, and ensure required documentation and subsidized timesheets are completed accurately
The Work Experience Coach provides career readiness coaching, supports youth during placements, communicates with employers and worksite supervisors, and helps ensure required documentation and subsidized placement timesheets are completed accurately and on time. This position is not responsible for service-learning projects.

Ideal candidates will have experience in youth development, workforce development, career coaching, internships, employment placement, or work-based learning. Strong communication, organization, follow-up, documentation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
