Job summary

Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco is seeking an Employment & Education Navigator to bridge housing programs with workforce development. You will manage educational placements, train housing staff on employment support, and strengthen referrals across sites.

The role requires direct youth service experience and strong admin skills, with hybrid work flexibility after probation. The position offers full benefits, a bilingual pay rate, and a schedule that engages with OEWD and partner

Qualifications

• Direct-service experience with young adults (18–24) is preferred.
• Strong administrative and documentation skills are required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus and supported by incentive pay.
• Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with housing site Case Managers, including travel.
• Coordinate and facilitate job readiness workshops at housing sites.
• Manage a caseload of 30+ educational placements (GED, college, training, credentials).
• Conduct quarterly follow-ups to track retention and progress.
• Collaborate to align educational programming and track placements for grants.
• Report workforce data for OEWD grant compliance using Salesforce/CRM systems.
• Create streamlined referrals between housing, Employment Success Services, and partners.
• Support enrollment, intake, and assessment for workforce programming.
• Participate in graduations and coordinate employer engagement activities.
• Attend OEWD meetings and program planning sessions; perform other duties.
