Job summary

MEDA is seeking a Client Navigator to support job seekers in San Francisco’s Mission District. This fully on-site role helps participants access workforce, financial, and housing services while guiding them toward employment and education opportunities.

You will supervise the computer lab, conduct workshops, coach resumes and interviews, and coordinate with partners. Strong bilingual communication and community focus are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in educational or social services to community members.
• Strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English communication ability.
• Must explain basic computer use, email, and online forms.
• Knowledge of San Francisco's workforce network is preferred.
• Experience with MS Office, Salesforce, and Google Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise computer lab and assist clients with job applications and services.
• Follow client registration and intake protocols; assess needs and connect clients with services.
• Facilitate workforce and financial capability workshops.
• Coach clients on resume, cover letters, interview prep, and job search.
• Support clients to reduce barriers and connect to employers and training.
• Provide financial coaching and budgeting guidance with follow-up.
• Engage community through outreach and events.
• Collect service data and ensure data accuracy for compliance.
• Collaborate with other teams and external partners.
• Participate in special MEDA projects as needed.
• Perform auxiliary duties as assigned.
