Job summary

Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) is seeking a Client Navigator to help job seekers achieve employment and career goals through client-centered strategies. Based in our San Francisco office, you will work within the Asset Building team, supporting lab supervision, intake, workshops, coaching, data collection, and collaboration with partners.

The role emphasizes bilingual communication, guiding clients through resumes and interviews, and providing financial coaching alongside employment

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish to support diverse clients.
• Experience in educational or social services preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset with de-escalation skills.
• Basic computer skills: email, online forms, and word processing.
• BA or equivalent education/work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise computer lab and help clients use equipment to apply for jobs.
• Follow intake protocols, assess needs, connect clients with services.
• Facilitate workforce and financial capability workshops.
• Coach clients on resumes, interviews, and job searches.
• Support clients to reduce barriers and connect to opportunities.
• Provide budgeting and financial coaching with action planning.
• Engage community through outreach and events.
• Collect and maintain client data for program compliance.
• Collaborate with teams and external partners.
• Participate in special projects within MEDA and Asset Building.
• Perform auxiliary duties as assigned.
