Job summary

Alliance for Community Empowerment (ACE) is seeking a Career Pathways Specialist to build and manage a comprehensive system that connects youth to training, credentials, and employment in high-demand industries in California.

The role develops relationships with training providers, including community colleges and industry certification providers, and with employer partners across energy infrastructure and construction trades.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of workforce development and career pathways.
• Ability to educate, motivate, and inspire participants toward career goals.
• Experience building partnerships with employers, training providers, or community orgs.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage career pathways by sector, including entry points and wage progression.
• Develop training partner MOUs and referral agreements.
• Engage employers to build a pipeline for job-based learning and employment.
• Collaborate with case managers to connect participants to pathways and opportunities.
• Track partnerships and outcomes for program reporting and improvement.
• Coordinate across staff to align strategies and avoid duplication.
• Perform outreach and marketing to recruit participants and build referral networks.
