Job summary

Pompano Youth Academy in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Youth Care Worker- Nights to join Rite of Passage Team. You will provide 24-hour supervision for female youth aged 13–18 and help manage daily activities in a secure residential setting.

Starting pay is $19/hour with guaranteed overtime each pay period. Schedule includes 12-hour night shifts, with benefits after probation and 6% 401k match after 1 year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct care experience with at-risk youth OR 60 college hours required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour supervision to ensure youth safety.
• Monitor and document youth behaviors.
• Supervise youth during sports and recreation activities.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Care Worker- NIGHTS at Pompano Youth Academy in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Pompano Youth Academy is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving moderate risk female youth aged 13 to 18 who require borderline intellectual functioning, major disorder, intensive mental health, behavioral/mental health and substance abuse services. The programs utilize evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while at the program.

Pay : Starting at $19 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker- NIGHTS , you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time and assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.

To be considered you should: Possess a High School Diploma or GED, have one-year experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education and possess a Drivers License.

Schedule: Our Youth Care staff work 12-hour shifts.
