Pompano Youth Academy in Pompano Beach, FL is hiring a Youth Care Worker to provide 24-hour supervision and support for at-risk female youth in a residential program.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and either one year of direct care with at-risk youth or 60 college hours plus a Driver's License. Shifts are 12 hours with guaranteed overtime per pay period.

Pompano Youth Academy is a residential commitment program for at-risk female youth. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.

Location: Pompano Youth Academy – 3090 N Powerline Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33069.

Pay: Starting at $19 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker , you will provide 24‑hour security and supervision to always ensure the safety of our Youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time and assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Have one-year experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education and possess a Driver's License

Schedule: Our Youth Care staff work 12-hour shifts.
