Job summary

AMIkids Inc. in Clinton, SC is seeking a Youth Care Specialist Supervisor to lead Youth Care Specialists, manage schedules, and oversee program operations ensuring safety and contract compliance.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, youth mentorship, and adherence to state and federal requirements. The successful candidate will supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, facilitate positive youth development activities, and participate in training and crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six consecutive months of supervisory experience required.
• Minimum one year of experience working with youth, preferably within the Juvenile Justice System.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth and Youth Care Specialists according to policies to ensure safety and security.
• Assist in scheduling to maintain required ratios and coverage.
• Provide timely performance feedback and evaluations to direct reports.
• Instruct youth in general care and maintenance of facility and equipment; supervise safety procedures.
• Lead and participate in disciplinary, care review, and crisis intervention meetings as needed.
• Attend trainings and maintain required certifications and licenses including CPR/First Aid.
