Job summary

AMIkids in Clinton, SC seeks a Director of Operations to provide leadership to Youth Care Specialists and Supervisors, ensuring alignment with established program operations policies, procedures, and protocol. The role includes supervision of youth in a safe environment and day-to-day program management.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, at least one year of supervisory experience (two years preferred), and willingness to travel for trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Two years preferred.
• Experience in an educational or youth service program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth and staff in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate daily staffing schedule to maintain required ratio.
• Oversee program activities and field trips to ensure youth/staff ratios.
• Enforce safety and security policies, conduct searches.
• De-escalate youth altercations and notify leadership.
• Implement AMIkids Way and Positive Youth Development elements.
• Ensure interactions reflect Kids First, Safety, and Community Involvement.
• Plan regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training.
• Provide feedback and evaluate performance of team members.
• May act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
• Possess valid driver's license and meet Transportation Policy.
• Travel to other locations for trainings if required.
• Participate in recruiting process.
