Job summary

AMIkids, Inc. is seeking a Youth Care Specialist Supervisor to lead the Youth Care Specialists, manage performance, schedule staff, and participate in hiring. The role emphasizes safe, compliant operations and mentoring youth under contract requirements and state/federal regulations.

The position requires supervisory experience, youth work background, and commitment to program safety. This on-site role includes field activities and potential extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Six consecutive months experience in a supervisory role required.
• Minimum one year experience working with youth; preferably within the Juvenile Justice System.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and youth according to policies to ensure safety and security.
• Assist with development of work schedules to maintain required ratios.
• Provide timely performance feedback and evaluations to direct reports.
• Instruct youth in care and maintenance of facility and equipment.
• Administer first aid and CPR during emergencies.
• Attend crisis intervention and training as required.
• Transport youth and assist with special projects.
• Operate institute vehicles and ensure safety procedures.
