AMIkids is seeking a Youth Care Specialist to directly guide and safely supervise youth in our care, teaching social, self-help, academic and living skills. The role includes advising youth, preventing incidents, using the Behavior Modification System, and maintaining clear shift documentation.

Overnight shifts may require bed checks and quiet-hours supervision. You will also participate in trainings such as CPR/First Aid and crisis intervention, and assist with transportation and special

Qualifikationen

• Direct youth guidance and supervision
• Teach social, self-help, academic and living skills
• Use training methods to prevent and intervene in incidents
• Provide redirection and coaching using the Behavior Modification System

Aufgaben

• Ensure safety and supervision of all youth per requirements
• Serve as advisor and positive role model to youth
• Prevent and intervene in altercations using state mandated training
• Coach youth in personal responsibility and social skills
• Oversee overnight supervision, bed checks, and shift documentation
• Notify management of problems and communicate with team
• Complete incident, accident and behavioral reports
• Maintain shift notes and equipment logs
• Ensure facility and equipment compliance with laws and policies
• Attend CPR/First Aid and crisis intervention training
• Transport students as needed and assist with special projects
