Norris is currently seeking a Youth Care Specialist for our Mukwonago, WI campus, in the Shelter Care Program.
Under the supervision of the Milieu Supervisor, the Youth Care Specialist (YCS) is responsible for the care and supervision of youth, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional and educational needs. The YCS collaborates with team members to provide direct care, meal planning, serve as a Youth Advocate, manage behavior, administer medication, facilitate recreation, and deliver therapeutic services in a trauma-informed care approach. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation and upholding daily routines, with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
