Our Group Care Programs provide treatment, educational, and therapeutic recreational services to youth aged 8-17 and their families, addressing mental health, behavioral disorders, sexualized behaviors, AODA, and trauma, including abuse and neglect. Our mission is to provide high-quality care through meaningful connections in a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment.
The Lead Youth Care Specialist (LYCS) reports to the Milieu Supervisor and is responsible for supervising and caring for youth, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. The LYCS collaborates with team members to deliver direct care, behavior management, recreation, and support services, all within a trauma-informed care framework. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing daily routines. The LYCS also administers medication and serves as the Leader on Duty during most shifts, including weekends and holidays.
This is a 24/7 treatment program requiring flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet program needs.
