Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Lead Youth Care Specialist for our Shelter Care Program at the Mukwonago, WI campus. Reporting to the Milieu Supervisor, the LYCS is responsible for the care and supervision of youth, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional and educational needs. The role involves direct care, behavior management, recreation, and supporting treatment services in a trauma-informed care setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing direct supervision and care to youth.
2. Implementing treatment plans and maintaining accurate documentation.
3. Ensuring the safety and well-being of youth at all times.
4. Administering medication as required.
5. Serving as Leader on Duty during most shifts, including weekends and holidays.
6. Supporting a culturally sensitive environment and promoting the organization's philosophy and policies.
7. Participating as part of the Group Care Leadership Team, providing role modeling and coaching.
8. Supporting the program's needs with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
