National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Youth Care Worker in Cincinnati, OH to guide and empower youth through advocacy and supportive services. You will work closely with youth and families to promote positive outcomes in alignment with program goals.

The role requires excellent communication, patience, and reliability, with flexibility to handle diverse situations and travel as needed. Join NYAP to help build brighter futures for young people and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with minors.
• Patience, empathy and ability to provide emotional support to youth.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance.

Responsabilités

• Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth.
• Guide and empower youth to reach identified goals.
• Provide leadership and a warm, safe atmosphere for participants.
• Complete program-related training and documentation on time.
• Coordinate with the Out of School Coordinator as needed.
• Maintain professionalism with youth, families, and staff.
