The Maintenance II position at Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches involves routine maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment at the Youth Camp. The person in this position reports to the Camp Director and is eligible for overtime pay.

Required: high school diploma or GED; a valid Florida Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement. Prior maintenance experience is valued; the team maintains facilities, performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds upkeep.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid Florida Class B with passenger endorsement driver's license in good standing is required.
• Previous work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Aufgaben

• Maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Prioritize and complete tasks in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
• Maintain Aquatic Facility Operators license and related records.
• Keep grounds tidy and facilities orderly; manage tools and inventory.
• Ensure proper documentation of vehicle reports and inspections.
