Job summary

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is seeking a Maintenance II to perform routine upkeep of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment at the Youth Camp. The role reports to the Camp Director and offers overtime eligibility. A Level 2 background screening is required under Florida law.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a Florida Class B license with passenger endorsement. Prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Florida Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement in good standing is required.
• Experience in facility maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Identify and address plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair needs.
• Maintain Aquatic Facility Operators license and records; report concerns and arrange repairs as needed.
• Keep grounds tidy: mow, trim hedges, clean walkways, weed flower beds.
