Battle Born Youth ChalleNGe Academy is seeking Cadre Team Leaders to supervise, mentor and guide at‑risk youth in a structured, quasi‑military residential program. You will model professionalism, integrity and respect while balancing firm expectations with empathy and patience.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in residential services or related youth settings, with a background in teamwork, safety, and responsible decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of leadership/teaching/care experience in residential or similar setting; OR high school diploma and two years of such experience; OR equivalent combination.
• Experience providing leadership, teaching and care for youth in residential settings is preferred.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and discipline cadets within a 24/7 program with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with integrity, maturity and professionalism.
• Provide daily supervision, mentorship and guidance to at‑risk youth.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment.
• Balance firm expectations with patience, empathy, and respect.
• Lead cadet training, monitor progress, and document performance.
• Deter and address disruptive behavior; conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Coordinate cadet movements, drills, and physical training with safety in mind.
