Job summary

Georgia Youth Challenge Program (GaYCP) seeks a Youth Leader / Cadre Worker to supervise and train cadets in a quasi-military setting, focusing on discipline, education, and personal development.

The role involves monitoring, mentoring, and providing a safe environment, with evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed. Eligibility includes HS diploma or GED; military experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Prior honorable active duty or POS T-certified experience preferred.
• Ability to lead physical training activities including weight training and runs.
• Strong instruction, discipline, and mentoring skills expected.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains youth in a quasi-military program of training and education.
• Assists in monitoring, training, disciplining, and supervising cadets.
