Battle Born Youth ChalleNGe Academy seeks dedicated Cadre Team Leaders to supervise, mentor and guide at‑risk cadets within a 24/7 residential program. The role emphasizes accountability, leadership, discipline and life‑skills development in a structured environment.

Under the Office of the Military, Nevada Army National Guard, candidates should demonstrate sound judgment, strong leadership, and the ability to balance firm expectations with empathy.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or ability to lead groups of youth
• Experience mentoring or supervising adolescents in a residential setting (or similar)
• Strong judgment, professionalism and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, mentorship and guidance to cadets in a 24/7 residential program
• Demonstrate integrity, discipline and respect while modeling professional behavior
• Participate in training plans, cadet development and program activities
• Maintain safety, order and documentation for cadet performance and activities
• Assist in disciplinary processes and cadet welfare while upholding rights and fairness
• Coordinate cadet movements and participate in physical training and drill standards
• Support facility readiness, inspections and maintenance as needed
