The State of Georgia's Youth Challenge Academy at Fort Stewart seeks a Cadre Worker to supervise and mentor cadets in a quasi-military environment, focusing on physical training, discipline, and education across the 22-week residential phase and 12-month post-residential period.

Responsibilities include training cadets, ensuring safety, documenting progress, and flexible scheduling. A valid driver’s license is required; stalking of GA Department of Defense guidelines applies.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or GED with equivalent military experience.
• Ability to instruct, perform, and demonstrate physical training activities (weight training, calisthenics, two-mile runs).
• Ability to obtain Georgia Class B CDL with School Bus endorsement or have access to one.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and trains youth in a quasi-military program.
• Monitors, trains, disciplines, and supervises cadets.
• Provides a safe environment, crisis intervention, and on-site counseling when needed.
• Documents student progress and motivates cadets.
