Job summary

Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch in Montana seeks Program Therapists to join an interdisciplinary care team serving youth with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual, group and family therapy, and collaborate with schools, families, and community agencies.

The starting salary follows an 11‑step pay scale; Montana biweekly ranges are $2,087.70–$2,349.72, with higher bands for LCSW/LCPC credentials.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible Montana professional credentials (SWLC/PCLC/MFLC, LCSW/LCPC/MFLT).
• Ability to work with youth and families in multiple settings (school, home, community).

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy to youth in school, community and home settings.
• Develops assessments and treatment plans; maintains PQI standards.
• Engages with parents/guardians and coordinates services with community agencies.
• Utilizes telehealth as needed and responds to crises in a calm, professional manner.
• Maintains accurate paperwork: assessments, treatment plans, therapy notes and documentation.
