Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide intensive behavioral health interventions to children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings.

The role operates under supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional and participates on an interdisciplinary team to meet treatment goals. The position offers flexible hours up to 40 per week, with non-exempt, part-time hourly status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 40+ hours of training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services.
• Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification.
• Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
• Strong verbal and written computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive behavioral health interventions to children/adolescents in various settings.
• Support families and work within home, school, and community settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team and implement treatment goals.
• Help clients function at their best in the least restrictive setting.
• Participate in flexible scheduling up to 40 hours per week.
