Job summary

Shiloh House in Centennial, CO seeks a full-time Youth Mentor/Behavioral Coach to support students daily. You will mentor and supervise students, use crisis intervention techniques, document progress, and help implement behavior plans. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care and collaboration with school staff to improve outcomes.

You will receive ongoing training and mentorship to grow your coaching skills and contribute to a supportive, structured learning environment for youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health/human services, education, or related field.
• Experience working with youth.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain one with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a youth mentor and behavioral coach in school settings.
• Supervise students, model positive behavior and promote development.
• Employ crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavior management to keep environments safe.
• Document behaviors, communicate with the team, and help implement plans.
• Support teachers and take responsibility for student engagement and outcomes.
• Work with youth experiencing trauma, neglect, and behavioral challenges.
