Job summary

Shiloh House in Centennial, CO seeks a full-time caregiver role with overnight and weekend shifts. The position requires a valid Colorado driver’s license, background checks, and direct care skills due to short client stays.

Qualifications

• Must have a professional mentality
• Must be able to pass several background checks
• Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain one with a clean MVR
• Direct care skills mastery due to short length of stay for clients
• Comprehensive background screening per Colorado DHS regulations for child care facilities (state criminal checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry, abuse/neglect clearances)
• Health evaluation or physical required prior to starting service

Responsibilities

• Work with MA level Clinicians and Special Education Teachers daily
• Collaborate within client treatment team to complete instructional activities and behavior management
• Implement treatment plans and IEPs as directed by clinician and teacher
• Maintain structure within the program and follow routines
• Provide intensive supervision, documentation, and organization
• Use de-escalation and boundaries to ensure safety
• Basic meal prep and light housekeeping
• Conduct daily room inspections and 15-minute bed checks for safety
• Transport clients to school, activities, appointments, etc.
• Attend treatment team and required training
• Support youth with emotional/behavioral issues from trauma/neglect, including aggression

Education

Two years of college

High school diploma + 2 years human services experience

High school diploma + 30 college credits + 1 year human services experience

Bachelor's Degree in related field
