Job summary

Community Autism Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to support youth with complex behavioral needs in a structured on-site program in La Verne, CA. The role offers a stable weekday schedule with competitive hourly pay and strong clinical supervision under BCBA oversight.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized behavior strategies, data collection, and collaboration with clinical teams. Eligible candidates will have ABA experience, CPI training, and potential RBT certification

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for employment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior ABA experience is required to work with intensive behaviors.
• CPI certification is required and provided by CAS.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, consistent relationships with youth in a structured program setting.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support.
• Implement behavior intervention plans for intensive behaviors.
• Respond to escalated moments using CPI techniques.
• Support skill development in communication, behavior regulation, and daily routines.
• Collect accurate data and session documentation.
