Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Youth Support Aide/Behavior Technician to help children and adults with autism develop communication, social, and daily living skills in home and community settings.

You will work one-on-one with clients, implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs, record session data, and create engaging learning environments while supporting positive behavior development and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• OR at least one year of experience as a: Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments
