Job summary

Prep Network is seeking a dedicated Showcase Director to organize and operate youth basketball tournaments and showcases nationwide. You will be the face of the events team, ensuring first-class experiences for players, teams, and spectators.

Responsibilities include end-to-end event execution, meticulous planning with headquarters, and strong communication with facility contacts, coaches, and officials. The role requires coaching background, organizational strength, and a passion for basketball.

Qualifications

• Coach: current or past basketball coach with passion for the game.
• Organized: multitask and prioritize competing priorities.
• Event Management: experience running events/camps with 50-300 participants and a coaching staff.
• Decisive and Problem Solving: make decisions under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
• Personable: strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• People Management: experience leading groups of 10+ people.
• Google Apps: proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Event Execution: set-up, check-in, run of show, manage staff.
• Planning and Organizing: collaborate with HQ to prepare event details and checklists.
• Communication: liaise with facility contacts, staff, coaches and officials.
